On November 30th, the annual ‘Santa Dash’ was held, where hundreds of people gather to dress in Santa suits and participate in a long dash across Bromley town centre. The wonderful event was hosted by Mytime Active, to encourage families and communities to get active and have fun around this festive time of year.

The event manager, Rob Drinkwater claimed that “the event has been a great success for the last two years and has always been enjoyed by many across the borough” and that this year’s event will be “bigger and better than ever”

The charity event is a fun, festive event over a 2km course, starting at Queens Mead Rec and ending in Bromley town centre. Although named a ‘dash’, the event is not actually a race, you can run, jog, walk, skip or whatever else around the course.

The run’s entry fee is £6 for adults, £4 for children (under 12) and free for children three and under.

The event was a huge success, with hundreds of spectators and maximum capacity of approximately 800 participants! Definitely a great start to the festive period!
