Guru Nanak Gurdwara Football Club, GNG FC, bring home a glorious victory from Vinters FC at Vinters home ground, 2-1.
GNG drove out to Vinters 3 weeks ago to participate in a league cup clash with Vinters FC.
Both teams had a variety of quality players which played to their full potential but GNG came out victorious by the of the ninty minutes.
Vinters took the lead by the end of the first half by a very strong goal and played dominantly for the fourty-five minutes, and it looked as if Vinters would snatch the win if they carried on playing like this and GNG would most definately have to do something that would be a match changer whether that be a team talk or some super-substitutions. As even the goal-keeper, Balraj Singh Jutte, was even looking tired, but yet still that didn't stop him from making some magnificent saves.
As the second half kicked of GNG had made six substitions and had changed their positions and formation, whereas Vinters only had one substitute which is one of the reasons why the game slipped out of their hands due to the fact that it was oblivious that their played had become very tired.
A little while after the second half begun GNG equalised by scoring a magnificient goal, which then made the scored 1-1. Near enough to the end of the game GNG scored the winning goal which was a picture perfect goal at the top left corner and this made the final score 2-1.
The man of the match award was awarded to Gurtej Singh Jutte would played at the Central-Defensive-Midfield position, and was awarded to him because of some amazing through balls and some balls played over the top that lead to some of the goals.
