Montagu’s Sushi is a sushi shop, which first opened in March 2021, and lets customers either sit down and enjoy their food inside the cosy and ambient seating area or take it home to enjoy instead.
After my numerous trips to this sushi shop, I can promise the staff, service, and most importantly the food, are absolutely extraordinary.
I recently interviewed Fernando who opened Montagu’s Sushi, he told me:
“We had been running a café for a local business in Bromley but in the middle of covid lots of people started to work at home and lots of offices and shops were closed, so we decided to change the café to a sushi shop.”
I also asked about his experience in the food industry, he told me:
“I have been working as a chef for fifteen years and three of those years at a sushi shop, so it encouraged me to open a shop of my own.”
Finally, I asked him to recommend three dishes off their menu:
“My three favourite dishes on our menu are the eel supreme roll, the red dragon roll and the chicken katsu curry.’
