Wildling Eatery is arguably one of Canterbury’s coziest cafes; and it’s all thanks to its artful aesthetics, amazing atmosphere and divine cake and coffee.
First established in 2022, it’s one of the 355 places to eat in Canterbury (and now my personal favorite).
Lisa Lord, a local resident certified that she “loved the decor inside” and that “the cake and coffee was excellent”.
I had the pleasure of first stumbling across the establishment whilst wandering around town and was instantly drawn to the character coming from inside.
Being a food-lover, I couldn’t resist checking it out – I needed to confirm that the food was as good as the design choices!
Thankfully, I was not disappointed.
The menu ranged from lunch meals and a variety of delicious drinks to desserts and sweet treats.
I enjoyed the coffee and pecan sponge as well as the chai latte, which tasted fantastic and fulfilled my sweet tooth (the icing was especially tasty).
Importantly, it was all for a reasonable price and was affordable compared to other cafes in Canterbury.
To complement this, the inside of the building had been decorated beautifully and the atmosphere was warm and comfortable.
It was busy but not overcrowded.
Additionally, the staff were helpful and friendly, and I was served quickly despite it nearly being full.
Overall, it gave off a uniquely welcoming vibe and felt nice and homely – therefore, making it the coziest cafe in Canterbury in my opinion.
If you’re visiting Canterbury, I would recommend that you stop by; it’s just a lovely place to be in general!
So, will you be wild for Wilding?
