OLD Colfeians suffered a narrow defeat at Cobham in their fisr game back in London Division One South.
Despite playing the more attacking rugby, with their pack particularly impressive, OCs gifted the opposition a couple of tries that proved to be their undoing.
The OCs tries came from Alan Bateson (2), Hugh McCormack-Houston and Sam Pemberton-Hill, with James Poole converting three and adding a penalty.
Colfeains’ team included several youngsters who have come up through their minis and juniors, all of whom acquitted themselves with distinction.
