A YOUNG clay target shooter from Bexleyheath has become the south east of England colt champion.
Ronnie Green was representing Kent at the competition in Worthing and his career highlight victory is even more remarkable as he only took up the sport 18 months ago.
The youngster practices at JJ’s clay shooting Club in Dartford where he shoots regularly against adult members and is mentored by ex-England champion Mark West and his father John West.
Green plans to develop his skills further to a level where he can win the British schools and young shots championship 2013 and the Essex masters colts. His ultimate aim is to one day be an Olympian and represent the country like his shooting idle Richard Faulds.
