FORMER world indoor 400m champion Daniel Caines will be in north Kent on Sunday to attend a free workshop at Gravesend’s Cyclopark.
Caines will be attending in his role as a Sports Makers ambassador, the organisation hosting the event, which takes place between 10am and 12pm.
Sport Makers is a national programme run by Sport England and funded by the National Lottery as part of the Olympic and Paralympic legacy. After Sunday’s workshop anyone attending can have a go around the newly constructed circuit with bikes supplied.
Anyone aged 16 plus can become a Sports Maker by registering at sportmakers.co.uk and signing up for the workshop at Cyclopark. All attendees also receive a free polo shirt and shoe bag.
