A TENNIS star tipped for the big time in News Shopper is going from strength to strength on the county circuit.
Lauren Townrow, 15, has been turning heads in the junior game - especially after winning the Brentwood Essex Grand Prix in June.
Since then, the Welling teenager has grown in confidence and strength culminating in another championship victory at the weekend at the Bromley Tennis Academy.
After a week of competition in the Kent County Tennis Championship, Lauren won the under-16 title beating Jacqueline Day 6-0, 6-3.
Lauren, currently ranked three in Kent, also reached the final of the under-18s competition only to lose in two sets to Catherine Green, ranked ninth.
