SHOOTERS Hill Golf Club's youth team (pictured) of six boys have won their first cup of the year.
They claimed the Langley League by beating Fawkham Valley of Longfield in a tense final and they now go on to the regional final at Dale Hill Golf Club, East Sussex, on October 16.
The Fawkham Valley match went down to the wire as the teams were tied 2-2 with two matches remaining to be played.
James Wade, 16, won his match to put Shooters Hill ahead and it was down to 11-year-old Albert Plant to halve or win the par three last.
But the youngster showed no fear to win the last and was carried off the green by his teammates.
The team were: Greg Snow, Kevin O'Connell, Liam Lawler, Oliver Hollis, James Wade and Albert Plant.
