JUNIOR tennis players in Kent enjoyed a busy summer playing at tournaments all over the county.
The tournament season started at the beginning of the school holidays and culminated with the County Closed Championships in Bromley last week.
Kent Club Development Officer, Tudor Rowe, said: "The summer tournament programme is a great opportunity for junior players to put their training into practice, compete at a high level and have fun.
"Kent tennis is very grateful to our tournament supporters who help to make our tournament programme possible", The summer tournament programme saw boys and girls aged eight to 21 compete in a variety of tournament formats ranging from three-hour events for the youngest to week-long events for the more experienced players in both singles and doubles.
The County Championships received a record number of entrants this year and more than 1,000 juniors joined in.
