THE junior section of a netball club has won the North West Kent Junior Netball League losing just one game in 10.
However, Halstead Ladies Netball Club only took the title by a single point from Sabina following a closely contested season which went down to the final day.
The club, based just outside Orpington, has been running for 25 years with the juniors in action since 2001 and involving players as young as nine years old.
They are looking to recruit girls from Years 5 and 6 to train and play in the game of High Five Netball and to participate in the Sevenoaks High Five Netball league.
There are also a few spaces left for older girls in Years 7 and 8 who would again be expected to train regularly and participate in league matches on a Saturday.
Training during winter months is on Wednesday nights at the Priory Leisure Centre in Tintagel Road, Orpington.
