THE British Schools Cycling Association National Hill Climb is back and entries are being invited.

The gruelling challenge which pits young cyclists' stamina against 650m of incline at Darenth Country Park, Dartford, takes place on October 7.

There will be 12 champions on the day as a boy and girl will be crowned winners in the under-8s, under-10s, under-12s, under-14s, under-16s and over-16s categories - all other riders receive a certificate Last year 55 hardened cyclists from all over Britain entered the challenge and organisers Team Darenth are hoping for more this year.
