BLACKHEATH and Greenwich (B&G) lost the quarter final of the Presidents Cup at Bromley by 77-67.
In the singles Tom Beesley lost to Chris Smith 21-17.
Beesley went into the lead 12-11 but then trailed 12-18 before he fought back to just four shots.
After a slow start James King and Paul Field went down 18-23 to Albert Johnson and Bob Flint.
Graham Booth slugged out a one shot win over Michael Goord 18-17 in the fours, the scores were level on the 11th, 13th, 15th and 17th ends.
B&G led the triples right up to the 14th end when Eddie Hughes team scored three leveling the match.
Del Field's team hit back with a four but lost the last three ends finishing 16-18 down.
In the Shepherd Neame PC League, B&G had a good result at West Wickham winning 51/2 to 11/2.
Tom Beesley put in a good performance defeating Ernie Hay 28-12.
Richard Hurrell won 23-14 and a last end measure secured Del Field a draw.
Paul Field after being level at 20 ends dropped two shots to Bill Mewis for B&G's only loss at 16-18.
A dismal week ended with defeats in the NWKL (0-6) and PCL (2-5).
