SHOOTERS Hill entertained Surrey League Two Rutlishians in the first round of the RFU Junior Vase and their forward domination caused the visitors to give away a number of penalties.
Full back Mike Smith was put away and Shoots finished 11-0 up at half-time.
Pat Beale had a storming match at No 8, scoring first in the corner and later from a scrum.
Harry Barham won a touch down and Gareth Cross’s kicking was impressive with two penalties and three conversions.
Newcomers Brendon Akal (inside centre) and hooker Tony Wood also performed well.
Shoots start their Kent Two campaign against Footscray at home on Saturday.
