OLD Colfeians kicked off their London One North league campaign in winning style with a 23-10 victory at Brentwood.
Full back Andy Howard slotted over a penalty in front of the posts to give the OC's a deserved 3-0 lead but Brentwood hit back and a converted try put them 8-7 in front.
However, Colfeians restored their advantage with a try from flanker Rob Seidu to ensure they held a narrow one-point advantage at the break.
Centre Sam Pemberton-Hill crashed over for a great try to stretch the lead even further after the interval before flanker Charlie Clay tore a hole through the Brentwood defence to make it 20-7.
The only remaining scores were a penalty apiece from either team and Colfeians are on the road again this Saturday when they visit Eaton Manor.
