BLACKHEATH & Greenwich Bowls Club won through to the Bexley borough double fours final after the club's A team defeated the B team 37-26.
Colin Harris, Ted Allen, James and Jeff King beat Bob Payne Paul Hayler, Tom Beesley and Tom Doig 23-13.
Pat Putnam, Harry Gregory, Neil Hornsby and Paul Field beat David Turner, Jack King, Ted Wyeth and Graham Booth on the last end 14-13.
B&G confirmed their division one title in the North West Kent League with a 6-0 victory against second-placed Petts Wood.
Brian Hawkins, Harry Gregory and Ted Wyeth won 17-12 against D Hibbert, B King and J Saunders, while Paul Hayler, Bob Payne and Del Field beat K Burns, Chris Fincham and Mike Cooper 18-15.
In the ladies’ league, B&G finished strongly in their first season back in the competition with a 6-0 win against Bromley Town leaving them in third place.
A five and a half to one and a half win in the Private Cubs League takes B&G to the top of Division One after they beat Bellingham by 86 shots to 72.
With leaders RBS having completed all the matches, and Met Police having two games in hand, B&G’s final game with the Police takes on great significance.
