IT is all change at Westcombe Park ahead of the new season with three new coaches set to organise training at the club.

Former club captain Simon Jervis takes over as senior coach following a spell with Gravesend, who he successfully steered to promotion from London Three SE to London One South.

James Whiteis an RFU development officer, Harlequins academy coach and was also the assistant coach at Combe last season.

The third member of the new team is Stephen Wagstaff, a player and coach of great experience having been involved with Warlingham and Old Caterhamians before becoming Surrey’s U15s coach.

He has also been a Harlequins academy coach for the last three years.

The trio will be responsible for the coaching of the first XV squad as well as Westcombe Park’s second fifteen ‘The Tigers’.

Combe have also restructured to allow for an elite player development group.

The aim is to produce more home grown talent from the academy into the first XV.
