BLACKHEATH & Greenwich Bowls Club have won the Division One title in the North West Kent League for the second year running.
They beat West Beckenham 6-0 (47-20), and with Petts Woods only gaining only a 5-1 win at Langley Park, B&G are seven points clear with only their final game against Petts Wood to play.
At the bottom of the table, Swanley pushed Langley Park into the relegation spot with a 4-2 win to keep alive their own hopes of staying up.
Both B&G teams won their matches in the Bexley Borough double fours and will now face each other.
The A team defeated Sidcup and the B side edged home against Horton Kirby after an extra end was required.
B&G’s O60 LX team followed their 8-2 win against Bellingham with another fine 8-2 success in a close match against Royal Bank of Scotland by 75 shots to 70.
Pat Putnam, Graham Booth and Neil Hornsby have reach the final of the Bexley borough triples by beating Dave Tattershall’s team from VCD Crayford.
