THERE is a big day coming up for the Bexley CC adult women’s cricket team on Sunday when they take on Shepperton in the final league match of the season.
Shepperton are top going into the clash ahead of second-placed Bexley and the winners will qualify for a play-off spot for Premier League status.
England duties and injuries permitting, Bexley could have national captain Charlotte Edwards and fellow England colleague Tammy Beaumont in their ranks, which should also include county players.
The game is being played at Manor Way, the home of Bexley CC, and starts at 12.45pm.
