HALLS BC won the county fours championship after beating Blackheath & Greenwich on the extra end.
In a closely fought match in which 19 single shots were scored from the 21 ends, Halls took an early 6-0 lead at four ends.
B&G responded by winning nine of the next 11 ends, allowing Halls only two singles while scoring eight of their own plus a four.
Halls hit back with five singles to lead 13-12 with one end left, but dropped a single shot taking the game to an extra end.
B&G lay two shots until Halls Rob Twell smashed the jack into the ditch to lay one shot.
With just the skips to play, Barry Collins added a second, leaving Andy Thomson one bowl to win the match.
But his bowl fell just short, leaving Halls the one shot for a 14-13 victory and the title.
Both B&G’s NWK league team sides won.
The ladies had a 6-0 win at Knockholt, while the men retained their lead in division one with a 6-0 win against Hayes Common.
The ladies also won their NWK Cup match by five shots against Bromley Town.
Both of the club's teams progressed to the next round of the Bexley double fours.
