BROMLEY remain firmly in the title hunt following Saturday’s emphatic 156-run demolition of Lordswood.
Having won the toss and opted to bat first, Bromley stood on 208-3 by the time James Butterfill (116) was finally dislodged by the bowling skills of Lyndon Lockhart.
There were also notable batting contributions from Chris Harris (50) and Miguel Barbosa (53) as Bromley eventually reached 300-7 from the allotted 50 overs.
Harris (2-13) Ricaldo Anderson (2-19), Grant Sheen (2-35) and Craig Peters (2-33) claimed a brace of wickets apiece as Bromley dismissed Lordswood for 144 to wrap up a comfortable success.
Hartley stay fifth in the Kent Cricket League Premier table following a 72-run triumph over Tunbridge Wells.
Rizwan Malik (103) and Charlie Hemphrey top scored for Hartley as they posted a target of 306-6.
Tunbridge were unable to deal with the bowling skills of James Hockley (3-17) and Darrell Carter (4-44) and could only muster 234 in reply before being bowled out.
Chris Coulson (50), Warren Lee (43) and Alex Darroch (48) helped Bickley Park (208-8) continue their mini revival in a two-wicket home win against Gore Court (206-6).
Bexley (308 all out) went down to a disappointing defeat at Manor Way as they fell 22 runs short of the target set by visitors Sevenoaks Vine (330-6).
