BROMLEY stay joint top of the Kent Cricket League Premier Division after Saturday’s 96-run derby success against Bexley.
Having won the toss and opted to bat first, Bromley quickly took command as James Goodman (83), James Butterfill (63) and Miguel Barbosa (73) helped their tally reach 242-3.
Matthew Dennington (46) helped increase the advantage and Bromley stood on 354-8 by the time the allotted 50 overs ran out.
In reply, Bexley could only reach 258-9 despite the best efforts of Alex Pinnock (53) and Gavin Pointer (48).
Hartley put the brakes on their recent slide with a three-wicket triumph at Sevenoaks Vine.
Michael Barber (110) and Luke Blackby (87) looked to have given Sevenoaks the advantage as they set a target of 304-9.
However, an outstanding batting display from Sam Billings (143) proved instrumental as Hartley responded with 309-7 to seal victory, a result which sees them climb up to fifth in the table.
Bickley Park moved out of the relegation zone with an emphatic eight-wicket demolition of drop rivals Tunbridge Wells.
Tunbridge Wells posted 249-6 but James Lincoln (121 not out) and Alex Darroch (106) each claimed centuries as Bickley Park wrapped up the win with more than seven overs to spare.
