BEXLEY women made a winning start in their first match in the borough in almost a century on Sunday.
Batting first, Bexley posted a target of 261-2 with England international Tammy Beaumont making 103 and Alice Richardson hitting 111.
The first wicket partnership of 192 was a great way to open the team’s account.
Restricting visitors Letchworth to 112 all out, Bexley eased to a 149-run victory.
