JUNIOR athletes from Swanley and District Athletic Club Panthers were in action at the Greenwich 2k fun.
The race, set in Greenwich Park, was held in conjunction with the popular senior 10k.
With their sights set on the 2012 Olympics the juniors ran well on a course which included a tough climb.
First home for the club was Nick Wood, 14, in 6mins 22secs followed by his sister Charlotte in 8mins 43secs.
Trish Tidmarsh ran well to record 8mins 51secs with Stuart Jeffery just 12 seconds behind.
Jenny Tidmarsh also had a good race finishing in 9mins 32secs with Jack Deal coming home in 10mins 48secs and Fiona Jeffery in 11mins 50secs.
In the 10k race, Mick Boddy ran a solid 40mins 18secs and Dave Lamkin recorded 45mins 24secs.
Margaret Morgan was the first female for the club in 50mins 16secs followed by Della Jeffery and Jayne Deal in 55mins 48secs and 55mins 50 secs respectively.
Ula Tidmarsh was the sole senior athlete from the club in the 2k race, finishing well in 13mins 44secs.
In the Hastings half marathon Sharon McGuiness had an excellent race running a personal best of 1hr 46mins 29secs just beating Peter Godbee who finished in 1hr 50mins 54secs.
