Charlton Park 19 v 7 Eastbourne
Rugby Union London 4 South East Division
CHARLTON Park scored three tries against Eastbourne to win the match and in doing so consolidated their mid-table position.
Charlton scored the opening try when, following good ball handling, a break from scrum-half Grant Parker went over the line and Michael Casizzi added the conversion.
Lee Amzaleg's direct running lead to Charlton's second try as he broke through Eastbourne's defence and his finely judged pass was taken by Simon Jackson to score.
Within 30 seconds of the second half the hosts had scored their third try after Sam Baker had chased the kick-off to gain possession which eventually ended up with Parker to score his second try and Casizzi kicked his second conversion of the match.
Holding a lead Charlton reduced their intensity and Eastbourne came back into the game to score a converted try.
