THE Kent Exiles American Football team kick-off their preperations for the 2006 season on Sunday with the first of two player evaluation days.
The event will be held at the Exiles training ground at Orpington Rugby Club, from 11am to 2pm.
Registrations start at 10.30am, with drills commencing at 11am sharp.
The event will be the first run by Exiles new head coach James Mitchell who is greatly looking forward to the day.
He said: "I want to live up to my high standards at a new club and the players need to come and impress in order to stake their claims for starting positions for next season."
The event is the first of two the Exiles have planned in the off- season, the second being on December 11.
Any new or experienced players are welcome to attend at both senior or youth level, as both squads will be put through their paces in line with the BAFA elite player programme.
No equipment is needed, the uniform of the day is shorts or sweats and boots, although helmets should be brought as normal.
The clothing selected should enable players to record their best times.
