GRAVESEND Hockey Club’s first team shared the spoils with Anchorians.
They were caught out when Anchorians managed to slip a rebound into the Gravesend goal to give them an early advantage.
Despite chances at both ends, Anchorians held on to this lead until midway through the second half when Di Prior managed to score after Becky Saunders put a ball across the goal from a short corner.
Gravesend continued to drive forward but were unable to get the winner.
Kerry Jewiss was named player of the match.
Meanwhile, Gravesend’s third string went down 3-2 at the hands of Ashford fourths.
