GRAVESEND Rowing Club had two crews taking part in the Greenwich Head race on Sunday.
This was the first fixture in the south east region’s rowing calendar, which local clubs are encouraged to support.
Organised by Blackwall Rowing Club, the race course was from Wapping Pier down to Greenwich.
Gravesend’s coxed mixed four finished 24th in 19m44.59s, while the coxed ladies’ four were 27th in 22m17.16s.
Both crews will be taking part in the next race, being held at Maidstone on March 7, together with a men’s crew.
