Cambridge Harriers Dean Lacy continued his superb form, adding to his Kent and London Championship titles this weekend by taking the Men's individual Kent League title, winning the last race of the season at Swanley.
Leading the competition coming into this last race, Lacy dictated the pace from the start until eventually only Andy Rayner from Blackheath could remain with him.
On the last lap, Rayner pushed on in an attempt to win the race but Dean was patient and when he made his own effort soon opened up a a large gap.
Lacy cruised to the line 20 seconds ahead of Rayner in 30:22 and goes into next Saturday's National Championship race in Leeds in great shape and full of confidence.
The Cambridge Harriers senior men finished 3rd in the four-to-score team on the day and fourth overall for the season.
