DARTFORD Harriers AC athletes were in action at two events last weekend.
The masters team were in medal-winning form at the southern veterans indoor championships Lee Valley on Sunday.
Kirsty Taylor continued her excellent debut this season in the W35 age group, with two gold medals.
She timed 8.46s in the 60m and 28.82s for the 200m, which was a new southern veterans record.
Cara Oliver also won gold in the 1,500m in a time of 5m07.26s.
In the M50 age group, John Fenton put the shot out to 11.21m for silver.
W50 Anne Goad also won a shot putt silver with 9.42m and was fourth in the 60m in 9.62s.
Rob Peers came fourth in the M40 pole vault with 2.40m.
Detling Hill was the setting for the Kent cross country championships on Saturday on a very cold day and some mud underfoot.
Results:
Boys U13: Ben Matthews 24th, Luke Saheed 34th. U/15: Tim Dowling 17th, Will Self 30th.
Men U20: Nick Wood fourth, Ryan Williams 16th.
Senior: Tony Durey 49th, Stuart Waterman 69th, Tim Orr 79th, Frank Hudson 82nd, Steve Hickmott 95th, Kevin Ashdown 107th.
Girls U13: Laura Hobson 20th.
U15: Casey Porritt 15th, Lucy Hickmott 18th, Cassie Benson 24th - fourth team overall.
Senior ladies: Ruth Ward 12th, Suzi Wiltshire 33rd.
