A SNOWY, grey afternoon saw Gravesend’s third string in action at Bexley Invicta.
An early first half goal for Bexley gave a horrible reminder of the 7-0 beating Gravesend suffered at the hands of their opponents earlier in the season.
However, the new grit and determination of the Gravesend side were not dampened by the goal and they rearranged the defence and marking strategy to hold the scoreline until half time.
The second half bought more control to Gravesend and there were a number of storming attacks made by winger and player of the match Hannah White.
In the end, the result was a 1-0 loss for Gravesend, who were unlucky not to score near the final whistle.
