Cambridge Harriers Dean Lacy and Sophie Parkes came away from the Kent Cross Country Championships victorious at Detling on Saturday.
Lacy pipped Mike Coleman of Medway and Maidstone to the line on the 12.4km course in a time of 39:21 to add the Kent Cross Country Championship to his London Championship title gained in November.
Lacy will look to make this a hattrick next week as he races in the final Kent Cross Country League fixture at Swanley this coming Saturday (20th).
Sophie Parkes left Detling with the U15 Girls title, beating Amber Reed of Blackheath and Bromley on the 3.65km course by a three second gap in 13:47. Club mate Grace Derome took thrid place in 13:58. Georgia Renny secured a second place the U15 three to score team, finising 20th in 17:16.
The other highlight of the day for Cambridge Harriers came in the U13 girls race as Megan Marchant secured third place on the 3.2km course in 12:42.
