This Thursday saw the quarter finals of the Team knock out played in the South London & Kent Pool Alliance with the Hotshots and Pickwick still in with a chance of league and cup double.

The Hotshots whitewashed Riley’s Ramblers from the first division 8-0 in frames and must be firm favourites for the league and cup double as they have a five point lead at the top of the table with a game in hand.

The Pickwick progressed to the semi final courtesy of a 8-5 in frames defeat of We Anchor in Hope with Martin Storey winning a vital frame from an impossible position to put Pickwick 7-5 in frames up before Paul Slater 3/3 finished the job off.

O’Connors B dispensed with Bellegrove Social Club by 8-3 in frames and with two of their players winning the singles titles last week with be tricky opponents in the semi finals.

In an exciting match at Our Lady of The Rosary Tony Frost revitalised his season with two wins to lead his New Eltham Social Club to a 5-1 advantage before the home team fought back. Tony Pearce and Dave Sparman won the next two for Our Lady followed by two frames for New Eltham won by Miro Cujic and Mattie Flockhart making the match score 7-3. Our Lady won the next two frames to set up a thrilling finale. Alex Winter sent New Eltham into the semis with a superb diagonal double on the black taking the match score to 8-5 in frames.

In the Premier Division the postponed fixture was played at the Fox Under The Hill with the home side scrapping home by 8-7 in frames in a keenly fought contest against Riley’s Rovers.

In the Reserve league New Eltham Social Club Reserves, who at 8-0 up looked like leading the division, are level on points with table topping the Woodman after a superb 9-3 in frames trouncing of Pickwick Academicals with Freddie Cook 2/2, Jack Budd 2/2 & Stephen Unwin 2/2 in excellent form.

In the other reserve game bottom club the Crown saw off the challenge of Four Lymes by 7-5 in frames.
