BICKLEY potter Katie Henrick is aiming to repeat her only ranking tournament victory at the East Anglian championships in Cambridge on Saturday.
Henrick won the event two years ago and will be aiming to repeat the trick in a competition which is the second of second of six ranking events on the World Ladies Billiards & Snooker Association’s 2009/10 tour.
However, she concedes it will be no easy task and has already identified Reanne Evans as her main danger, with Henrick’s rival going into the event on the back of a 43-match unbeaten run.
Henrick said: “Winning the East Anglian back in 2007 was a special and important moment as it was my first ranking event win.
“It’s a long time ago now, so it would be great to get another win.
“I need to play my best snooker though and start scoring more, which I haven’t been doing, especially if you want to beat a player like Reanne who is winning and improving all the time.
“She is without question the best player, but we all have to start believing in ourselves and have more confidence if we are going to win.
“You have to play the game not the player and not worry about anyone else.”
