DARTFORD Road Runners Club are on the lookout for athletes to take part in their annual Les Witton Memorial 10-mile road race early next year.
The race on January 18 starts at 9.30sm from the club’s headquarters at Princes Park Stadium and follows a new scenic route which will take runners through the country lanes of Darenth.
Entry fees are £11 for affiliated members and £13 for non-affiliated members, with entries on the day £3 extra for both.
The race usually attracts more than 800 entries, so anyone interested in taking part is advised to apply now to avoid disappointment.
Entry forms are available at dartfordroadrunners.co.uk or in person at training nights at Princes Park on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6.30pm.
Dartford Road Runners welcomes new members who might like to join their beginners’ squad trained by qualified coaches, or more experienced runners who would like to train with runners of similar ability.
Many social activities are organised by our social secretary which have proved to be a great success at home and abroad.
So why not come along and enjoy the excellent facilities at Princes Park and be part of the best road running club in Kent?
