BROMLEY High School secured the Year 7 and Year 8 Bromley Athletics championship title at Norman Park.
The two squads from Bromley High knew the school had secured the same title the previous year, so the pressure was on to repeat the achievement and retain the crowns.
Hurdlers Becky Knight and Caroline Doddrell opened the proceedings with excellent second places in their respective races.
This was closely followed by Year 7 captain Helen Phillips also achieving second in the 1,500m.
While success was being achieved on the track, it also became apparent the girls were performing well in the field.
Emma Dyer secured first place and Ella Lawrence second in the high jump for their respective ages, while the Year 8 team claimed second in the long jump and third in both the discus and the shot.
Back on the track, Year 8 captain Charlotte Colegate retained her title as Bromley 100m champion with a blistering performance, leading the field home in 13.11s.
Having already secured second in the 200m and 800m, the Year 8 team concluded with second place in the 4x100m relay.
The Year 7 team also finished with a flourish, winning the 4x100m relay easily as both squads reclaimed their titles.
