Bexley moved up to third in the Kent Premier League table as a fine bowling performance left Tenterden helpless on Saturday.
In a reduced 35-over game at Manor Way, visitors Tenterden opted to bowl first and took advantage of the conditions to leave Bexley 66/4.
Christopher Laas hit back with a patient 42, but another impressive display from Sam Weller (3/26) ensured the hosts were restricted to 158/9.
Recently-promoted Tenterden were gunning for their fifth victory of the summer but were quickly pegged back to 64/8 as Michael Stevenson and Jason Benn shared six wickets.
And despite Weller smashing four boundaries in a swift 44, Bexley bowled the opposition out in the final over for 126 to seal a 32-run win.
Bexley are now 14 points behind Hartley, who won their sixth game of the season against Bromley in a reduced 20-ver game.
Scott McKechnie and James Thompson both hit two maximums but a superb spell from Bromley spinner Imran Qayyum (3/10) ensured Hartley could only post 127/7.
Bromley looked set to chase the total at 58/1 only for James Hockley (3/16) to inspire a collapse which left the visitors 26 runs short.
Despite Hartley’s dominance, Blackheath remain on the coat-tails of the leaders after Saturday’s three-wicket win over Lordswood.
After electing to bat, only one batsman outside of the top five reached double figures for Lordswood as Warren Lee (4/28) skittled through the tail.
In pursuit of 172, contributions from Tanweer Sikandar (47), Lee (44) and Chris Willetts (29) took Blackheath to the target with 20 balls remaining.
Meanwhile, Beckenham all-rounder Raza Ali Dar hit a six off the final ball of the innings to clinch a one-wicket win over Tunbridge Wells.
Beckenham looked to be heading for defeat at 179/9 chasing 201, but Ali Dar’s maximum fired the visitors to victory.
Dartford’s away fixture at Sevenoaks Vine was abandoned. They will continue their search for a first league win at home to Tenterden this weekend.
