It's taken seven weeks but finally White Hart have won their first match of the season in the South London & Kent Pool Alliance Division Two.

Fellow strugglers Lord Herbert were the visitors and they started well by taking a 3-2 lead after the first set.

White Hart rallied round to reverse that score in the second set and go on to take the last set 4-1 to win the match 9-6 and go five points behind their opponents in the table.

There was some exceptional shots played by both teams, none more than Josh Fellows, who won both his frames for the victors and Ed Green, going one better with a hat trick for Lord Herbert.

At the top of the table Rileys Sharpshooters overcame last weeks loss with a stunning team performance to beat Bellegrove A 11-4.

Bellegrove started the better, winning the first set 3-2 but they fell apart after that losing the last two 4-1 and 5-0.

Steve Dixon was tremendous on debut for Sharpshooters, winning all three frames, including a break and dish and he was joined by John Shepherd on three out of three, with Captain Alex Dobbins and Ben Creffield just behind on two out of three.

After their victory against the division leaders last week, Plumstead Radical Club Rebels were pushed all the way by a rejuvenated Glenmore Arms II side.

Glenmore were quicker out the blocks, taking the first set 3-2 but Rebels recovered and won the second set by the same score to set up a tight final set.

The first four frames of the last set were shared taking the match to a final frame decider, which Glenmore looked like winning but Trevor Biggs played a Captain's role to win the match 8-7 for Rebels and complete his own three out of three.

Jon Syta was also unbeaten for the victors, winning two frames.

Now White Hart have picked up their first win, it leaves the SLKPA Premier Division's Pickwick Academicals the only team still looking for a win.

This week they played hosts to the unbeaten Rileys Hotshots and Academicals played some decent pool but the visitors finishing power made all the difference as they ran out 12-3 winners.

Richard Chapman, Neil Hall and Robbie Robb all won three out of three to help Hotshots back to top spot, albeit shared with O'Connors after their own massive win against Bellegrove.

O'Connors won the fist ten frames before Bellegrove battled back in the final set, taking it 4-1 to make the final score 11-4.

Another team that took a big lead were Pickwick, who won the first eight frames against Eltham Terrace Rack Pack.

Rack Pack Captain, Steve Unwin inspired a comeback, winning the first of his unbeaten brace in frame nine with Bill Sawyer taking the first of his two out of three in frame ten, to make the score 8-2.

Rack Pack went on to win the final set 4-1 to make the final score a more respectable 9-6 to Pickwick, as they lost their way.

Dean James came out with some credit for Pickwick, winning all three of his frames.

Eltham Terrace Club A hold on to third place despite losing 8-7 to Radical Club Rebels, who are now just one point behind their opponents.

Eltham Terrace won the first two sets 3-2, which included a good dish from a dry break by Dan Heinink in set two but Stacy Redman inspired a final set comeback  with a break and dish in frame eleven, the start of a 4-1 set victory.

Foots Cray Social Club Rugrats join Eltham Terrace on 59 points but are fourth after winning one less game.

Ian Cruwys was unbeaten on three out of three in the 10-5 victory over North Heath Social Club, with Natalie Barnes and Adam Hewson both winning their only frame.

It was first versus second in the SLKPA first division, where Glenmore Arms A took on Fox & Hounds.

The division leaders took the first set 3-2 but Fox won the second set by the same score before Glenmore won the last set 4-1 to win the match 9-6.

It was a good all round team performance as Paul Thomas, Alan Rothwell and Dean Geary-Parr were unbeaten with two frame wins and David Holpin won his only frame.

As a result, Eltham Terrace Rovers regain second spot after they beat sister side Eltham Terrace Nuthouse by 9 frames to 6.

The first set went to a final frame decider, where Rovers' Ryan Francis performed a break and dish against Craig Jones for the set.

Jones went on to play the first frame of the next set and must have played his quickest two frames ever, after Paul Dawson put the black down on his first shot.

The second set also went to a final frame decider and this time Rovers' Darren Porter won his second of three frame wins to put his side 6-4 up.

It was a bad day at the office for Dawson, as he met Jones again in the final set, who delivered a seven-baller but Rovers went on to win the set, 3-2 again, with Lee Osborn securing the victory with his third frame win of the night.

Royal Oak Addicks picked up their fourth win of the season with a narrow 8-7 victory over bottom club Bellegrove Social Club.

Despite the loss, Bellegrove's John Fay stood firm, winning all three of his frames.
