A SIDCUP youngster has capped a memorable sporting year by helping Bexley District Girls FC win the league title.
Hannah Baker, 11, was part of the team which won the final match of the campaign at Woking to secure the championship.
But it isn’t just on the football field where the Days Lane School pupil has excelled, as Hannah has also represented the borough of Bexley in netball, tag rugby and athletics.
This spring she was part of the bronze medal winning tag rugby team competing at the London mini games, where one day earlier she represented the borough at netball.
As well as playing football for her school, Hannah also represents Bexley-based girls’ team Parkwood Rangers.
Dad Graham said: “Days Lane and two teachers in particular, Mr Lang and Miss Huggins, should be recognised for their key role in Hannah’s sporting achievements this year.”
