ERITH karting sensation Bradley Hardy recently wrapped up the Lydd winter championship.

The seven-year-old has been competing in monthly time trials since April 2012.

He has achieved many wins, podium finishes and numerous trophies since starting out just over a year ago, notching victories at Lydd kart circuit, Bayford Meadows and Buckmore Park.

Since finishing runner-up in both the Lydd and Bayford Meadows summer championships in 2012, the Erith youngster has now gone one better by placing first in the Lydd winter championship, a title secured with one race left to go.

Bradley holds an MSA (Motorsport Association) license and has now moved up from Bambino to Honda cadet class, where grids consist of up to 25 karts.

Because he doesn’t turn eight until November, the Erith ace can only participate in non-MSA race meetings.

However, he will continue to regularly practice at Lakeside, Rye House, Buckmore Park and Bayford Meadows.

Bradley also achieved a lap record for a seven-year-old at GP Circuit, Lamballe, in France, a venue he regularly visits.
