OLIVER Hussey and Harley Parsons enjoyed a hat-trick of first place finishes in the U15 boys’ A and B strings at the latest UK Youth Development League (YDL) fixture at Lewis.
Dartford Harriers’ Hussey came out on top in the A-string discus (32.3m), javelin (39.34m) and shot put (11.83m).
His achievement was matched by fellow Harrier Parsons in the B-string with 27.92m in the discus, 39.2m in the javelin and 9.13m in the shot put.
Although the Dartford team was short on numbers, the 15 athletes did well against six other clubs and finished sixth overall with 213 points.
Other first place finishes from Dartford Harriers members were: Ben Sutton (U13 boys’ 200m 27.7s), Chloe Sharp (U15 girls’ 800m 2m26.0s) and Holly Page (U15 girls’ 1,500m 5m02.4s).
