SHOOTERS Hill ended the season with a heavy 50-0 defeat at Sittingbourne.
As when going down to champions Dartfordians last week, Shoots showed great commitment on the day.
But a depleted scrum meant they could not pull it off in the set pieces, an area exploited by the hosts.
They finished seventh in Kent One with 46 points, a creditable result considering injuries and unavailabilities.
Shoots have qualified for the semi-final of the Kent Salver for Kent Vase losing teams and will play Orpington away next Saturday.
