Southport 2 v 2 Fleet
Nationwide Conference
LIAM Daish could not hide his disappointment after Fleet relinquished the lead twice to 10-man Southport.
He said: "As much as I would like to say otherwise, it was two points dropped.
"When Southport went down to 10 men our finishing was not as clinical as it may have been.
"We passed the ball extremely well and tried to make the extra man count, probably trying too many speculative shots.
"My lads worked hard and if their man had stayed on then maybe we could have won it."
Fleet took the lead on 12 minutes when Mark De Bolla's 30-yard free kick squirmed through the keeper's hands.
Mark Boyd levelled on 32 minutes but Fleet were ahead again just five minutes later.
Luke Moore grabbed it, his third goal in three games, but again the hosts fought back with Michael Powell scoring.
Powell was dismissed minutes into the second half for a second bookable offence.
