SIDCUP Eagles JFC have enjoyed a meteoric rise since being formed two years ago.
Made up of friends from Fosters School in Welling, the team finished as runners up in the SELKENT Youth League at U10 level in their debut season.
This year they went one better by winning the title by four points, only just missing out on the double after suffering a narrow 1-0 defeat in the cup final.
Sidcup Eagles’ philosophy is to play attacking football, a point proved by the fact they scored 50 goals this season with contributions to the tally made by boys from all positions.
The club now has 17 players from schools across the borough and are already preparing hard for more success next season.
