Corinthian Cas. 1 v 4 Wands
Ryman League Division One South
CRAY Wanderers sit second in the Ryman Division One South after a win and draw over the Bank Holiday weekend.
While they went on a second-half rampage at Corinthian Casuals they stalled in a bore-draw at home to Tooting and Mitcham.
Ian Jenkins' men remain unbeaten this season with three wins and a draw to their name and they are behind Dartford on goal difference.
Against the Casuals very little happened until two minutes into the second half when former Bromley pals Colin Luckett and Mark Willy combined to set up Al-James Hannigan for his first goal of the season.
The goal did little to improve the quality of the game but when Jamie Wood was pushed into a striking role it reaped dividends as he was quickest to a loose ball in the penalty area for 2-0.
Casuals pulled a goal back to end Steve Northwood's unbeaten start to the season, Terry Fenessy netting the record-breaker.
With five minutes remaining substitute Junior Baker made it 3-1 after Wood had charged down a clearance.
The final bow went to Wood, who was making his 300th appearance for the club, as he lashed home Matt Woolf's pass.
Against Tooting, Cray missed the chance to secure maximum points despite playing against 10 men for 45 minutes.
Cray are in FA Cup action this weekend with a trip to Walton Casuals.
