BROMLEY had the Bank Holiday weekend from heaven taking maximum points and maintaining their unbeaten start to the season.
Mark Goldberg's men lie fourth in the Ryman Premier Division after beating Ramsgate at home and Worthing on the south coast.
Against Ramsgate, the Lillywhites had to wait until the 82nd minute before Junior Kadi scored the winner against a team who arrived at Hayes Lane looking for a draw.
However, had the hosts been sharper in front of goal and not wasted their chances they could have had the match wrapped up by half-time.
In the second minute Nic McDonnell put a free header over and Barry Moore skied Sam Wood's centre.
Bromley had the ball in the net on 30 minutes but McDonnell was flagged offside as he headed Wood's cross home.
Just before the break Tony Boot, who heads off for Germany to play for England in the World Cup for players with learning difficulties, pulled a wonder save out of Chris May in the Ramsgate goal.
The keeper somehow flicked Boot's powerful drive over the bar to maintain his own unbeaten record.
Goldberg rang the changes at half-time, bringing on Adrian Stone and Junior Kadi but it was Boot who went closest when his calm lob bounced off the crossbar with May beaten.
The striker forced a smart save from May moments later and when Donal O'Sullivan blasted wide when unmarked from a corner, a stalemate looked inevitable.
Goldberg introduced Kirk Watts and his dangerous crosses were finding the Lillywhites front men but Stone especially was guilty of poor finishing in front of goal.
On 78 minutes Kadi thought he had converted another Watts cross but his shot nestled in the side netting.
He did not have to wait long however as Will Graham's weak-headed clearance landed at Kadi's feet inside the area and he showed great composure to make space and fire a right-footed shot past the exposed May.
It could have been 2-0 moments later but May showed why he is highly-rated with a marvellous double save from Kadi and then Boot.
On the south coast against early season strugglers Worthing, it was a Nic McDonnell brace which secured the points.
