NORTH Kent District’s school representative football teams have enjoyed another good season.
The U14s reached the final and beat Bromley District 3-2 to become Kent champions for the third successive year.
North Kent showed more desire and ability than their opposition and deserved to win the game.
Stephen Jerrom scored his third hat-trick in three games but credit must also go to keeper Connor Vincent for his crucial penalty saves during the semi-finals.
North Kent’s U13s finished second in the league and reached the semi- final of the cup, where they lost to Maidstone.
The boys have improved on last year’s fifth spot and will be aiming to do even better next season when they compete at U14 level.
North Kent U12s, led by Paul Crowe, have reached the Kent cup final in their first season, losing only one game along the way.
The boys beat Gravesham District 4-0 in the semi-final and will now face Bromley in the final, a side they have already defeated this season.
