Dartford 2 v 2 Molesey
Ryman League Division One South
GOALS from Jay May and Steve Hafner salvaged a point against Molesey at Darts' temporary home of Thurrock.
Molesey, who had conceded three without reply in the opening weekend, took the lead before Darts came back to lead on 63 minutes.
However, moments later Molesey were level again on 65 minutes.
Dart are still top of the division but have played a game more than all but one of their opponents.
Report by Mike Brett-Smith:
THE home side were superior in the opening 45 minutes playing their usual expansive game and it was a shock when Molesey took the lead on 15 minutes.
They took a quick free-kick to flat-foot Darts' rearguard with Phil Ruggles sneaking in to force Hudson into a handling error and concede the first goal.
Hudson made amends six minutes later by tipping a fierce dipping volley over the bar.
Darts upped the pressure and on 32 minutes were level thanks to an imperious Jay May volley from the edge of the box.
Just before the break Richard Avery rose to power a header agonisingly past the wrong side of Molesey's left post with the keeper rooted to his line.
Darts continued brightly in the second half with May heading just wide and Dave Martin cutting in from the right and shooting across the face of goal.
Molesey began to get to grips with the game and had a shoot-on-sight policy which was thwarted by a vigilant Hudson who held everything fired at him.
Darts took the lead on 64 minutes when Steve Hafner latched on to a loose ball and chipped over the Molesey keeper from 25 yards out.
Before Darts settled Molesey were on terms when Warren Burton scrambled home a soft goal.
Darts almost wrapped up the points in the dying moments when May hit the top of the crossbar from out on the left.
