BROMLEY District U14s enjoyed a successful half-term tour to Stoke where they took on Nantwich Town U15s, Walsall and Crewe.
The boys kicked-off with a highly entertaining 3-3 draw with Nantwich, a side comprising some of the best players from the area, thanks to goals from Jordan Gallifant, Alex Arif and a screamer by Greg Cundle.
Bromley quickly followed this up with a 5-2 demolition of Walsall.
Arif was again on target against the Saddlers and there were further goals from Harry Jackubait (2), Jack Sullivan and Alfie Pavey.
Next up was a clash with Crewe Alexandra, a club noted for their ability to unmask young gems.
The Crewe side was managed by the League Two side’s first team boss, Dario Gradi.
Crewe proved too good for Bromley in the end, winning 2-0 but the boys were returned to London with their heads held high ahead of Monday’s meeting with North Kent.
