It was the Feelgood Factor for Cray after registering their first win of the season, with a 5-1 trouncing of Harrow Borough.
Thanks to some sharpshooting by Laurent Hamici, who scored a hat-trick, and a strong performance from the whole team, the Wands at last gained some reward for the fine brand of football that they have been playing since the start of the new Ryman Premier campaign.
Hamici's early strike following Adam Cottrill's cross from the right was quickly cancelled out by the visitors, and it needed a point-blank save by Cray 'keeper Dave King to prevent Harrow taking the lead.
Good work on the right by Danny Phillips in the 24th minute ended with Lewis Perkins restoring Cray's lead after Harrow failed to clear the ball away from their goalmouth.
Harrow were reduced to ten men just before half time when their defender Wayne Walters held back Perkins as he raced towards goal.
Cray outplayed the visitors after the interval, and Hamici netted a blistering low shot on 65 minutes.
Chris Saunders and Hamici showed great assurance when shooting past Nick Jupp to score late goals to register Cray's biggest win since they came into the Ryman Premier last year.
Cray: King, Cottrill, Coleman, Day (Sawyer 84), Willy, Sterling (Bentley 71), Perkins, Lozano (McLeod 71), Hamici, Phillips, Saunders. Subs not used: McCann, Gibbs.
Attendance: 178.
Cray are away to Bury Town on Tuesday evening (7.45pm).
